Spring splurge, of course a Burberry trench coat! So many choices!
London Fashion Week just ended and here are some of my favorite looks from it!
Love this jacket by Matthew Williamson, I am dying to know what it is made out of. Williamson's show was so much different than the bright, fun patterns you usually see, instead it was lots of grays and blacks. Designer: Matthew Williamson
Such a fun dress by Julien Macdonald's Fall 2010 collection. Designer: Julien Macdonald
Burberry Prorsum Fall 2010. I love the thigh-high boots and bell shaped military green jacket! I want the whole outfit! Designer: Christopher Bailey
Embroidered leather dress by Christopher Kane, Fall 2010. Designer: Christopher Kane, only 3 years out of design school!!
Isaa, Fall 2010. Just so glamourous. Designer: Daniella Issa Helayel
PPQ, the show that closed London fashion week. Check out those shoes!! Designers: Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker
*Confirming my dislike for Donna Karan, the company did not let a size 4 model walk on the runway! So disappointing...

I am really obsessing over the makeup from Vivienne Westwood's fall runway collection this week. This models face looks like an actual painting, there is so much contouring and nude colors, I really just love it! The MAC (my favorite!) pro-team did all the makeup for numerous fashion shows including Westwood. Director of makeup artistry Terry Barber specifically did the makeup for Westwood's collection. During fashion week the ensemble of MAC makeup artists will create 3 face charts reflecting the looks from the days shows and then included is an inspirational quotes the artists have found. These charts are later put in a book documenting the new looks for the fall!
Check out the makeup artists tweets from backstage at London Fashion Week!
Price-friendly store H&M is coming out with a line of organic skincare products and all under $10! It includes shower gel, body scrub, body lotion, hand cream, and lip balm in raspberry and melon or lavender and mint. It comes out at the beginning of March and will be available in all H&M stores.
I will be updating more on beauty later tonight, so check back!
If you liked Tom Binn's Alice In Wonderland jewelry these is one piece for under $50! This rose ring, which also comes in mushrooms, is a keyhole shape and really cute!
I bought these mineral washed jeans at Forever21 this week, they are so cute and super comfortable because the material is really stretchy. And only $30!
Metallics were huge on the runway and I love these metallic leggings in black, they are super flattering!
This really is the cutest thing ever! A Holly Golightly sleep mask, I've always been on the lookout for one! (this site is just so fun to browse around on too)
Enjoy the weekend!

Designer, Tom Binn's was inspired by Tim Burton's remake of Alice In Wonderland so much that he designed a collection over it. He said that there were so many iconic images in the story (Here are a few examples of the creative mind that Binns has.
Keyhole studs
My favorite, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum bracelet!
Wonderland charm bracelet
Hearts necklace
I think with the upcoming movie release, more Alice inspired goodies will be coming out, can't wait!
President and creative vision of Jimmy Choo, Tamara Mellon, has released a line of high-top and low-top sneakers for the company. Mellon said she was, “influenced by today’s music, youth, and pop culture" for the kicks. The sneakers are made of suede, patent leather, and elaphe snake skin. Designs by Lanvin, See by ChloĆ©, Louboutin, and Burberry have all been clearly impacted by hip-hop culture and have made sneakers a staple.
Not that metallic has been out of style for the past couple of years, but Fashion Week was filled with tons of metallic again! So if you did not hop on the metallic bandwagon, there is still time to enjoy this trend! Metallic reflects light, so if you are wearing some, you will definitely stand out! Remember that silver looks good on lighter skin tones and gold looks better on darker skin tones.
Here are some pieces showing off the trend
Metallic blouse at Elie Tahari, but obsessing over the floppy, flowered leather hat, it is so inventive!
Christian Siriano dress
Copper and sheer dress by Devi Kroell (now in her fourth season as a designer)
Michael Kors silver coat
Tory Burch tweed suit with metallics weaved in
Diane von Furstenberg, the show was filled with metallics!
Beautiful metallic Proenza Schouler checkered dress
Here are some fashionable metallic items I found, with a wide price range!
-Metallic flats for $34.99
-Gorgeous metallic draped Marc Jacobs dress
-Colorful metallic Milly blouse
-Metallic Converse high-tops
-Metallic denim pant for $25!
Ralph Lauren doing the saddlebag and metallic trend in one!

Who Wore What Best?
Daphne Guiness at Mick Jagger and L'Wren Scott's last day of NY Fashion Week's Annual Party
Heidi Mount at Vogue's party for the new Quicktake: Rodarte exhibition at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. I love all the criss-crossing of materials on this dress!
Naomi Watts in Calvin Klein at the Calvin Klein White Party. The length of this dress is amazing!
Chloe Sevigny, in a Blouson Noir bustier top and an Opening Ceremony leather skirt
In fashion news:
Designer Mark Fast sent plus-size models and skinny models down the runway in London. Fast wanted to prove the point that chic clothes are chic clothes and size does not affect that. Size 16 model, Crystal Renn strutted her stuff down the runway in a tight-fitting dress as did other size 0 models.
Smaller model and Crystal Renn working it. (all of these clothes will be available at Topshop later this year!)

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's three year old clothing collection, The Row, debuted at Fashion Week in New York City yesterday. The collection was 19 pieces, very simple, and everything was colored black, navy, or white. The looks were low-key but chic and all made of luxurious fabrics such as silk, python, cashmere and leather.
Here are four of my favorite looks from the show
The designers were inspired by the German artist, Beatrix Ox., shown below
Their debut was fabulous, except for the slip-up they had when their models shoes weren't delivered on time and they all had to wear thonged leather sandals for the fall/winter collection! Still looked good though!

Zac Posen, this deep red is beautiful in the fall too and finally more velvet on the runways!
Diane von Furstenburg
Fun glittery dress from Luca Luca!
Peter Jensen, so much grey on the runway! I love, love this jacket, the hoodie has such a cute tie! And the grey contrasted with the neon yellow is so perfect
Suno, the patterns are so fun!
Victoria Beckham, the structure is just so pretty and I love how the blue shoes pop out!
VPL, all the chain links are so cool!
