Chris Benz
Inspired by 'Americans in Paris', Chris Benz created a colorful and floral 60's style collection. It was filled with every color of the rainbow and then some muted grays and browns. There were retro pantsuits, full skirts, flowing blouses, chunky knits, cigarette pants, and floral cotton prints that were all accessorized with chunky platform mules (designed by Alejandro Ingelmo), candy colored nail polish, and hoop earrings.

Matthew Williamson
I loved Williamson's inspiration for his spring collection, "...a girl marooned on a deserted island. She has her Western wardrobe, and over time she becomes one with nature, picking up organic textures and materials." You could see his inspiration flowing through the collection as it began with a plain palette then advanced to brighter colors and different textures (of course my favorites were at the end of the show, colorful and textured).
In love with this gold, peacock skirt
Patterned mini dress paired with gold wedges
Gorgeous evening gown with bright colors on top and flowing into a darker and floral pattern on bottom
Jason Wu
Inspired by Brazilian artist, Beatriz Milhazes, who is known for her brightly colored creative prints, Rene Gruau, the French fashion illustrator and Old World 40's glamour. Wu showcased tons of sheer blouses with bows at the neck fitted with high-waisted pants or skirts, perfectly tailored coat dresses, striped knits, floor-length chiffon gowns, all which were completed with his newly debuted handbag and shoe collection which were made with contrasting leathers and in lady-like designs. Wu perfected the show with a cobalt blue serpentine runway. (Look at pictures)
Very sheer white blouse with exaggerated bow paired with slouchy khaki colored pants and a clutch
A clear inspiration from a piece by Rene Gruau...
Wu used turbans throughout his collection, but in the case stripes replaced the checkered pattern
Purple chiffon evening gown (with a sheer top, of course) and a feathered neckline
The pattern was very much so inspired by Beatriz Milhazes, except Wu constructed the patterns in a more put together manner than this one...
