I really liked the manga and film based on the original novel. The film's sequel was not based on anything but bullshit money-milking. It really was a form of media that needed no sequel. 

It has a similar plot with a group of teenagers being kidnapped and forced to fight. 

However their target is not each other, but the last game's winner who has turned into a Taliban wannabe. 

The acting is awful, the plot confusing, and the characters are really shitty. All copies of the movie need to be destroyed.
