Popular Brazilian flip-flop company, Havaianas, has teamed up with designer label Missoni to create a fun and colorful Havaianas by Missoni Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Apparently they came out in May and I am (embarrassingly) behind, but they are so cute I had to put them up! The collection does not only feature three flip-flops but there is a cute pair of espadrilles too. These are perfect casual shoes to add pop to your summer outfits.
The limited edition shoes are priced from $60 to $130 and each pair comes in a Missoni crocheted shoe bag with the colors of the Italian and Brazilian flags.
Angela Missoni, Creative Director for Missoni Womenswear and more recently Missoni Menswear said in a statement, "Havaianas is a cult, I already own many and I keep buying them as soon as I cross a new design or color. I love the Brazilians' joyful colorful lifestyle, which I find so seductive, inspirational, and very empathic to the imagery and taste of Missoni, so as soon as I had the chance I proposed a partnership."
