The bill was passed months ago, but the military has officially approved that openly gay service men and women won't effect combat on the battlefield or what other lies social conservatives believe. After some legal mumble jumbo, and set number of days, the LGBT community can openly serve. 

After being attacked for running an ex-gay clinic, and for possibly being gay himself, Marcus Bachmann is playing defense. He said he never called gay people barbarians that need to be disciplined. No.. he was referring to children. That's the worse turnaround I've ever heard of. 

The famous football player came out recently in defense of homosexuality, a rare move from someone in the homophobic sport. He's speaking out for love and peace mainly for his brother that died in 2006. I think more NFL and NCAA players should speak for gay rights in the future. 

Or that's the word on the street from people. Michele Bachmann might be crazy, but her husband is no better. He's run an Ex-gay clinic, and has suggested that homosexuals either convert to heterosexuality or remain celibate for the rest of their lives. There's really no evidence of Mr. Bachmann being gay or not besides the way he talks and acts. However I wouldn't be surprised if he is, and I'm sure there's a person deep inside him that hurts everyday suppressing his true feelings. 

It does make a little sense now. The couple semi-raised 23 foster kids. Though they do have five of their own. So shit, I don't know that example doesn't make sense, but hey I'm going to run with it. 

Rick Santorum was in Spartanburg, SC recently championing traditional marriage. While giving the finger to single mothers, unwed parents, and gay couples. This dude better not be elected president.

The movie is a documentary about how Christians use the Bible as a weapon of hate against homosexuals. It even goes in to clarify the meaning, translation, and cultural reasoning for what's written in the bible. 

The "main family" shown in the film I guess you could say is that of Former House Majority Leader Dick Gephardt, and his lesbian daughter. 

But it gives other people the spotlight including the now openly gay bishop Gene Robinson. 

It truly is a great film of peace and understanding. It's on Netflix Instant currently.

I like the marketing on this one. Way to not sell baby food in the future. 

He and his partner David Burtka have been together for years, but thankfully for them New York just passed a gay marriage bill. Good for them. 

It was a narrow vote, but New York has joined a few other states like Vermont and Massachusetts in Gay Marriage passage. 

It's more than obvious that Andrew Cuomo will sign the bill. Which is good, I support all rights for the LGBT community. 

Props to Lady Gaga for going to Europe and speaking up for the LGBT community. 

Such a good movie, I didn't really hear about it until it came out on DVD. 

Harvey Milk was the first openly gay politician in American history. He had some level office in the city of San Fransisco, but he was way ahead of his time. 

The movie goes deep into Harvey Milk's life, from his early adulthood, to his later life with all his personal relationships involved. 

The movie also taps into a lot of the hate Harvey Milk got as a person. Homophobia is very deeply displayed historically and so is the lives of gay rights activists. It also shows the tragic fate of Harvey Milk. 

It was actually pretty fun. I marched as a straight guy who supports the rights of everyone. 

We did have some protesters. One from a weird ass church. They have a strict understanding of the bible, and the men dress as they were Catholic with Amish hats, and the women dress a lot like Muslim women. They didn't do much to the parade, we yelled to drown out their hate speech.
