Fashion News: 2011 Color of the Year, Fashion Ban in Oslo, Tom Ford S/S 2011 Eyewear Campaign
Posted by org at 4:56 PMPantone's color of the year: Honeysuckle Pink! Pantone is the world's color authority and executive director Leatrice Eiseman says, "The color says we need to be hopeful and think of things that satisfy as many senses as we can." The color was showcased on the runways of Peter Som, Badgley Mischka, Nanette Lepore, including others. The best thing about this color is that it suits every skin tone, and how can pink not put a smile on your face?
For the first time ever a fashion community, the Norwegian one to be exact, has banned fur from the runways during Oslo Fashion Week. This decision was lead by a group called Mote Mot Pels (Fashion Against Fur). What do you think, should fur be banned from any/all runway shows?
