A trend to try is celestial jewelry, anything with the sun, moon, or stars on it.  Celestial jewelry has not become a trend yet, but it is on its way, as recent celebrities have been seen wearing it.  Giorgio Armani also found inspiration from the moon for his 2010 Spring collection, Armani Privé.
The special thing about celestial jewelry is the symbolism the objects hold.  The moon is something that illuminates our intuitions, the sun represents the celestial king who brings warmth to our lives, and the stars which tell us to reach upward.

Cat Deeley wore Melinda Maria's (I did a write up on her about 1 week ago) Moon & Star Necklace in 18 karat gold plate out in Cannes with Kate Bosworth
Gwyneth Paltrow wore diamond star studs to the Iron Man 2 premiere
